Further recognition for Aymar in Catavinum World Wine & Spirits Competition 2026

The Catavinum World Wine & Spirits Competition 2026 has also recognized the excellence of Aymar’s still wines, further expanding the winery’s achievements in this edition.

Specifically, two wines from the DO Conca de Barberà have been awarded Gold Medals:

🥇 Gold Medal – Comabella (White Grenache)

🥇 Gold Medal – Montagudell (Carménère)

Comabella, made from White Grenache (Garnatxa Blanca), stands out for its aromatic expression, freshness, and elegance, reflecting the Mediterranean character and richness of the region.

Meanwhile, Montagudell, crafted from Carménère, impresses with its intensity, structure, and complexity, offering a distinctive expression within the appellation.

These awards highlight the diversity and quality of Aymar Wines, which goes beyond Classic Penedès sparkling wines to also produce still wines with a strong identity in Conca de Barberà.
